ZDG550C Diaphragm Wall Grab
ZOOMLION ZDG550C hydraulic diaphragm wall grab handles deep trench excavation in complex soil conditions, underground engineering projects, and other applications involving the construction of underground diaphragm walls. The piling machinery has a maximum trench depth of 80 m and a trench width of up to 1.2 m. Built for demanding underground foundation engineering, this heavy-duty foundation machine cuts into soil layers, grips excavated material and removes it from the trench to support diaphragm wall construction. It addresses this with a 12-push-plate alignment correction system that adjusts the grab's position during trenching. A bucket capacity of 1–2 m³ provides strong soil-cutting and excavation capabilities, and the modular counterweights allow the working mechanism's weight to be adjusted for different ground conditions. Suitable for deep excavations, underground structures and other diaphragm wall projects, ZDG550C offers the stability, excavation capacity and operational control required of heavy construction machinery working in challenging subsurface environments.
