ZOOMLION mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), also known as aerial work platforms, raise workers, their tools, and the materials they need to work on ceilings, building facades, elevated structures, and other areas that are difficult to reach from the ground. Workers can move the platform to another part of the jobsite as the work progresses, without having to set up scaffolding at every new work area. ZOOMLION offers MEWP models with different working heights, platform capacities, and reaches for construction, equipment installation, building maintenance, and cleaning work across a range of site conditions.

Main Types of Aerial Work Platforms
  • ZOOMLION Boom Lifts
Boom lifts have a platform at the end of a telescopic boom or an articulating boom. The telescopic boom extends outward, while the articulating boom bends at its joints. Both can raise workers and their tools to work areas above the ground; the boom also lets them reach across obstacles or toward places that are too far from the lift’s base to access with a platform that only moves straight up.
  • ZOOMLION Scissor Lifts
Scissor lifts have a scissor mechanism, made of crossed supports that extend to raise the work platform straight up. The platform gives workers space to take tools and materials with them for indoor maintenance, equipment installation, and other work at height.
