ZE1250G Large Excavator

Built for overburden stripping and material loading in medium-to-large open-pit mines and major foundation projects, the ZOOMLION 125-ton-class crawler excavator is heavy earthmoving equipment with an operating weight of 116,000 kg and a 567 kW Cummins engine. A standard 8 m³ reinforced bucket and an optional 7.1 m³ rock bucket provide configurations for handling soil, weathered rock, gravel and materials encountered during coal mine stripping. To meet the demands of continuous excavation and high-intensity loading, the mining excavator incorporates reinforced powertrain, hydraulic and undercarriage structures. Working alongside large mining dump trucks, the excavator transfers material from the excavation area to haulage vehicles for removal.

    The customized Cummins engine in these ZOOMLION mining excavators delivers 567 kW of power for demanding mining operations.
  • High torque reserve and stable power output
    Ample torque reserve and strong torque at low engine speeds enable faster response to changing operating loads. Stable power delivery and extended engine service life further support sustained operation under heavy-duty working conditions.
  • High-flow hydraulic pumps and swing drive
    Three variable displacement piston pumps deliver hydraulic flow of up to 532 L/min per pump. A large-displacement swing motor provides high swing torque, enabling rapid swing startup and fast upper-structure rotation during excavation and loading.
  • Optimized main and auxiliary control valves
    The hydraulic system combines a large-passage main control valve with an auxiliary valve. Optimized valve spool geometry reduces resistance to hydraulic oil flow through the valve passages, lowering oil circuit pressure losses by more than 12%.
