ZOOMLION knuckle boom cranes are truck-mounted lifting equipment with multiple articulated boom sections that fold and unfold to lift and position loads. The hydraulic system bends and straightens the articulated boom sections to lift, move, and position loads. These loader cranes can lift cargo onto or off the truck and position equipment or materials for installation, including in confined spaces where the boom needs to bend to reach the load's intended position.

  • ZOOMLION knuckle boom cranes (ZTK45000V763) have a 2.8 m-wide platform and an 8 m outrigger span that provide a broad base of support for heavy lifting.
  • The basic boom has a maximum rated lifting moment of 450 t·m, with no reduction in lifting capacity when the cranes lift loads over the side of the vehicle.
  • Overall vehicle length is 11.2 m, and the turning radius is 8.5 m, so the cranes can maneuver and change position in confined work areas.
  • Their four-axle, 48-ton chassis offers all-wheel steering and three steering modes. These include crab steering, in which the wheels turn in the same direction to move the vehicle diagonally into position.
  • The chassis can carry the 22-ton counterweight between work locations, so a separate vehicle is not needed to transport it.
  • Vehicle and crane functions can be controlled from the standard remote control, which has a 5-inch touchscreen.
  • Lifting information appears on a separate 7-inch color touchscreen load moment indicator, which also recommends operating configurations for the lifting task.
  • Optional equipment includes a winch, a manually extended jib, and a fly jib for tasks that require different lifting arrangements or additional reach from this truck-mounted lifting equipment.
