Luffing jib tower cranes (LW2800A-200) from ZOOMLION are designed primarily to install wind turbines rated up to 10 MW, from the tower sections to the nacelle at the top. They provide the lifting capacity and height needed to place these large, heavy components into position, and can also perform high-elevation lifts for bridge construction, chemical plants, and high-rise buildings.

  • Heavy Lifting for Wind Turbine Installation
    These cranes have a maximum lifting capacity of 200 tons and a rated lifting moment of 2,800 t·m for the installation of wind turbines rated up to 10 MW. They lift large components such as tower sections and nacelles into position, where both the component weight and installation height place high demands on the crane.
  • Freestanding Tower Heights up to 216 m
    The tower can reach a freestanding height of 198 m without support arms or 216 m with them installed. At these heights, the crane can serve tall wind turbine installations with less reliance on tie-ins to an adjacent structure.
  • Faster Hook Travel over Long Vertical Distances
    ZOOMLION luffing jib tower cranes have a maximum freestanding tower height of 216 m for lifting large components at height. Thanks to hoisting speeds of up to 66 m/min, the hook takes less time to travel between ground level and the installation area, which helps maintain the pace of repeated lifts on projects that involve tall structures such as wind farm construction.
