Stiff Boom Cranes ZLT5500H5

Stiff boom cranes are truck-mounted loader cranes that lift, move, and load or unload cargo using a rigid, straight telescopic boom. The boom sections slide in and out to adjust the reach while remaining aligned, rather than fold at articulated joints as they do on knuckle boom cranes. ZOOMLION stiff boom cranes handle loads such as construction materials and equipment, both during loading and unloading and when placing them at the worksite. Since they are mounted on cargo trucks, the same vehicle can transport the cargo and unload it at the site.

Features
  • ZOOMLION uses high-strength steel for the main boom of these stiff boom cranes, with a U-shaped cross-section for strength under lifting loads.
  • For work at greater heights or farther from the truck, the five-section telescopic boom offers a maximum lifting height of 26.5 m and a maximum working radius of 24.4 m.
  • Remote control is optional, so crane movements can be controlled without remaining at the fixed control station.
  • These straight cranes can also have an auxiliary winch with high line pull to handle heavy loads and speed up work with lighter loads.
  • When the main boom does not provide enough reach, an optional jib extends the working range and increases the lifting height.
