The ZT160HEV hybrid mining dump trucks from ZOOMLION carry a rated payload of 100 tons for large open-pit mines, major foundation projects, and bulk material transport. Their series-parallel hybrid powertrain pairs a high-displacement diesel engine with two electric motors for a total output of over 1,000 hp, while the ZM-i Super Hybrid Energy Management System switches drive modes and manages energy use according to operating conditions. For loaded climbs and long-distance haulage, these wide-body haul trucks have a high-strength load-bearing structure and a braking system that coordinates multiple braking modes. Their factory-installed drive-by-wire chassis also provides a foundation for autonomous operation in mines.
