ZOOMLION mining dump trucks are heavy-duty haulage vehicles built to transport ore, overburden and other bulk materials in open-pit mines. These mining haul trucks can operate on steep grades and rough, unsealed haul roads and are designed for continuous multi-shift mining operations. To handle the repeated heavy loads the haul trucks carry, the frame is welded from high-strength low-alloy steel. Their load-carrying structure has been optimized using computer-aided design (CAD) and finite element analysis (FEA). Key welds undergo ultrasonic testing to improve fatigue life and long-term structural integrity.
A hydropneumatic suspension system responds to varying payloads and road conditions to improve stability when hauling heavy loads over rough terrain. ZOOMLION's heavy-duty mining equipment features a dual-circuit braking system, hydraulic retarder, and specialized mining tires for reliable braking and better control, even when hauling heavy loads over challenging mine roads.
